You haven't posted on the forum in 'kin ages and this is how you make your return?!
For shame.
You'd best be out on May Day to make up for this absence.

There is something known as a 'slip rule' for speeding offences to cover these types of error. Don't know if it's the same for parking scum.

Try the parking ticket info over at www.pepipoo.com.

Oh and welcome back old chap, what what.

A Winnah, getting a ticket? Shocked
Laughing

Seriously though, AS Joe said, they allow for it so unless you can fight it by maybe finding faults with the area you parked (I.E, wrongly marked) then there's not much to do.

Right think about this for a moment. The only way they can contact you is through your reg No.

How are they going to contact you?

I'm sure all the parking Nazis take digital pictures of the cars round here these days.

Doesn't matter though does it as they haven't issued a pcn to 'your' vehicle.

I was down in Hastings the other day as my mum is buying a restaurant in Rye... Even though I was sitting in the car, with the engine running, pulled over on a random bit of tarmac away from everyone else (it was dead), texting on my phone, they still tried to give me a ticket. I thought that he hadn't seen me, so I got out and said, "Mate, I'm in the car -- I'm just on my phone."

That was a bit silly saying you were on a mobile phone with the engine running.......
Never mind the parking ticket thats a 6 pointer you just admitted too.... Embarassed

Surely they'll realise their mistake (it must happen a lot), view the image, and correct it?

So a ticket has been issued that has the wrong reg on it, no ticket has been issued with the correct reg on it. A ticket cannot be issued at another time.
