Been off the weed for a few days now

I decided to knock weed on the head, as I started on it again ages ago just to help me sleep I was having one J a night about half hour to forty five minutes before bed and it was working great.

Then the inevitable happened and I started smoking a little bit more, then a little bit more. I ended up going from 20 quid a week to about 80-100 quid a week in weed. Luckily I have good friends who "get hold of" and "get rid of" weed. So I was getting most for free anyway and still not spending more than 20 quid, occasionally spending 40 quid.

I was always getting stoned so I decided that enough was enough and if I didnt do it now I would get well caught up and find it very hard to stop.

So I got myself half ounce of solid on friday and smoked half of it then I put the remaining quarter oz into a big cake and ate the lot as a way to say goodbye it. I put far far too much in the cake to be eaten in one sitting but I didn't find out till too late. I spent that evening and the whole next day stoned.

Anyway I am off now and feeling pretty good, more energy and just livelier in general. I am getting to sleep as well, ok its not until about 12 ish but I am getting there.

Gonna set a date to knock the cigs on the head now, bout 6 months I reckon as I have tried quitting them lots of times and always fail. So I reckon if I give myself 6 months to get used to the idea I may have a better chance of quitting, tried the patches and the lozenges and the inhalers and the chuddy all to no avail.


No point to this really other than I felt like typing it.

I've been off it for about a week now. Combination of wanting to have my head straight for finals and can't be bothered to score any. Since most of the baccy I smoke is in joints I've given that up too. I'd probably still be smoking the occasional fag but I ran out of rizlas and haven't bothered to buy any more.

Well done. I tried giving it up for a bit but then felt it was a far better idea to stop drinking instead, been off that for a good while now (had one beer last weekend, that was enough for me!) I seem to be able to limit my consumption to about an eigth a week at the mo.

Yea, ive got into smoking last couple of days every night and it just makes you feel stoned the next day.

Got some calm sleeping pills from boots (3 for 2 wwooo) and going to stop till my exams are over.

In my first year i smoked every night and its amazing how slow it makes you, i love it but fuck me it changes you after a while of constant use
