Yes, we've got a Focus oil burner to cart around the mrs/kids/dog/shopping etc etc.
I dont really use it much, but its nice to have all the same, if not bloody expensive to run |

Got 2 bikes, well one and a half as well as the Type R.
Insurance, tax and servicing does certainly cost a fair few bob. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

Need a car for sure with kids, but could quite happily live without it if needed. Saying that, I'd be after a better bike instead of forking out for the car in that instance. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

I said yes, but it's essentially the family's car well more specifically the wife's, though I did use it today as the bike was having it's brakes sorted. ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen... |

Don't own one but have access to one which is tbh the ideal situation.
I am getting myself a reliant soon though hopefully but imo that doesn't count ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

I own a 'cheap' economical 1.3 toyota corolla, 'cheap' to run and 'cheap' insurance. Use it when transporting others, grocery shopping and picking up/taking my 6 year old sister out during weekends etc.
And have my CBR125 to commute with during weekdays and for 'fun' at weekends.
Yes, expensive all together, but more reasonable/affordable when your insurance renewals are due at different times of the year- for me, Car insurance is due in June, Bike insurance in Jan.
Don't think i could live without the car, certainly couldn't live with just a bike! ____________________ www.artridertraining.co.uk |

No, Would like one though, but I'm young and insurance is crazy money. Looking to learn soon just from my dad so I don't have to pay for lessons. ____________________ www.southwestbikers.com

Reasons like what stelmer? (genuinely interested - it's hard not to sound sarcastic on a forum)
I actually have 2 bikes right now. Though one is a courtesy bike they've not taken back yet. YBR 125 and my own GSXR 400. For me, commuting to college, a part time job and socially, the bike is perfect and oh so fun. It's also practical as I can take it to uni when I go in september, as there isn't much room for cars on campus.
After uni however, I fully intend to get a car. Doing the whole bike gear/getting cold and wet/getting knocked off alot/not being able to carry much is all fine at the moment while I'm young and have the novelty and coolness of it all to make it worth it. But when I'm older and just need transport I'll definitely need a car.
Will still keep the bike of course. |

I only have my bike and do not have a car licence.
I want to do my car test this year to get it out of the way. I dont really want a car right now. I dont have much money to spend on one and would rather spend it on a bike. I see being able to drive a car as a valuable skill, but I dont have much interest in owning a car until I 'need' to. ____________________ Current: MT-10, Bandit, Grom, GPZ500
