terns out for the last 8 month he has been telling his ex that we arnt goin out and that he miss' her and a whole load more lies.

i see him everyday pretty much, he might as well live at my house and we are quite close. now i have realised the last 8 months have been one massive fairy tail. nothing was real.

To put it bluntly ... move on...8 months is a blink of an eye in life so just chalk it up to experience deserving and not deserving isn't really an issue as justice does not exist in the world.

However you can always entertain a bit of childish revenge, you may perhaps like to try to capisicum oil on the inside of a condom trick and enjoy the blood curdling screams , I cut some chillies once and went to the toilet without washing my hands BEFORE taking a whizz , it hurt alot, capicisum oil is ALOT stronger. £10 from Stuart.
Or

https://www.chilefarm.co.uk/pure_cap.html (dangerous if they have allergies but hillarious).

Or perhaps writing on the back of his bank paying in book "hand over all the cash and nobody gets hurt" (dangerous).

Remember you live in the UK I've said it many times before women have all the power in relationships you can say yes/no go out there and take your pick, while men have to go out and 'try their luck' by asking people out.

But don't get all bitter and twisted about this, there are good and bad being bitter and twisted just lessens your opportunities in the future and you may experience a desert period....

A word of warning btw:

https://www.sciencelab.com/xMSDS-Capsaicin_Natural-9923296

Oh and remove all milk / yougurt/ice cream/beer/etc from the house BEFORE you try this trick , and turn the stop tap of the house off too.

Can I ask how you found this out? Unless it was directly from him I'd take it with a pinch of salt....... Confused

Still have happy Rolling Eyes memories of the night my fella's ex cornered me (with her mate for backup) in a pub toilet so she could tell me what a bastard he was and how he was still sniffing around her, we'd been seeing each other for over a year by this time.

So first I got how bad he's treated her and how many times he's cheated on her and with who. I smiled and said nothing. Then she started telling me about stuff they'd done together - clever, cos she made it sound like it had happened last week when actually it was years ago. Still I smiled and said nothing. Next a low blow, there were rumours that he's fathered a child by another ex (when he was still seeing this one) that neither he nor the other ex have ever confirmed, she of course knew it was true - but if it was it was all before I met him. I still smiled and said nothing. Then did I know he was still coming around to hers wanting to sleep with her, and she started to give me dates - that was her big mistake cos the dates she gave didn't add up and I knew exactly where he was on most of them (at my house!). Of course she was only concerned that I would get hurt........... Rolling Eyes

I smiled, thanked her for her concern about someone she had never met and reminded her that however well she thought she knew him she knew nothing about me and I might be the biggest bitch in the world and giving him a real hard time, did that not make her feel better? Then I pushed her (and her mate) out of the way and went back to my drink.

15 years later me and him are still together. I think I've seen her about twice since that night and she's never said a word..........

I went out with a lad once for a few months and we planned to move in and all. As we where looking places he turned around and said to me he was lying about everything! even down to the last detail and he didnt even want to be with me. Crushed me that. Needless to say that ended things and I never seen him again. And it was hard to trust after that. But that came from the horses mouth. As babyyam pointed out where did you hear this from?

if its turns out to be true you dont deserve it. Get out and enjoy your summer. If we ever have a summer again.
It is harsh when a fairy tale romance just suddenly ends like that.

Why did you apologise to him? He was in the wrong for sending e-mails to his ex.

I had a gut feeling about my (now ex) husband. I went through his briefcase and found a letter from his secretary at work. I took advice from my dad before confronting hubby(he had had an affair when married to my mum) told him about the letter and about him going out without me, and not going out to watch our daughter swim. I was advised to ask him outright about it. He gave me a load of bull s**t but then the next day he said he needed space!! I filed for divorce 3 days later.

Women's intuition is usually pretty good, move on, he isn't worthy of you if he is going behind your back. There will be someone out there who will be your Mr Right, it's just not him. IMO

Haha, yeah, but thats just different. ALRIGHT!

Babyyam you have a point, but where does it end? I bet some bint who regularly checks her boyfriends mail to find nothing NEVER tells him what she has done.

The lack of trust and honesty is the problem here, not the fact that he has cheated, maybe if she was more open to communication in the first place rather than sneaking around just like her other half has done then maybe they could learn to talk and be honest.

There are so many people on this forum that are the first people to cry out "I hate CCTV cameras and ID cards, I don't like the fact my privacy is being infringed" yet seem to be able to accept personal invasions of privacy.

I'm not condoning what he has done, however.

But if it turns out you were right then i wouldnt care TBH. I mean i would feel bad if i opened them up and nothing.

Me and my GF go on each others e-mail, sometimes work stuff (same uni course) there attached that one of us needs. All my passwords (eg facebook) on her computer.

I think its about trust and think it can represent a level of how comfortable you are about that person knowing details that almost everyone you know doesn't Thumbs Up

Hope it goes well, he sounds like a right knob and hopefully one of these days it will bite him when he least expects it

Andy, my girl knows all my passwords as well and it doesn't bother me. It would bother me if I found out she was abusing my trust though.

I dont think he actually cheated though. He says he has never touched anyone else.

I just dont understand why he would lie to his ex if it wasnt to get her in bed.

AAAARRRG! Things are so poo.

Me and him are still talking though. I dont see any point in being bitter and I will always stick by the fact that he is my best friend.

Been there, done all that recently with a guy.

Turns out that despite his begging, pleading, crying and swearing he was telling the truth, he wasn't. He cheated on me twice and thought I didn't know, then thought I'd be stupid enough to believe his lies.

Tried to be friends with him but he became more and more spineless and I resented him more and more for what he'd done and for putting my health at risk.

Hats off to you if you can stay friends with him, I personally couldn't care less if my ex fell off the face of the earth after what he did to me and put me through!

I've just come out of a relationship where my GF lied about things.
I have to say I resorted to reading emails and her phone texts just to get the truth.
What's the point in being with someone who f*cks you around.
You did the right thing and followed instinct, how else would you have found out if they lie to you? You'd probably still be there now still having doubts.

Several times I walked into the room having gone to the bog or whatever to find my (at the time) girlfriend going through my phone. Really really annoyed me- there wasn't anything interesting on there, hells most of the messages on there were from the attention seeking bitch herself, but it's the principle of the thing.

However... in the OP's case then I guess it was worth it. Still can't say I'd agree it's "right" though, I mean what if he wasn't lying?
It's probably worth giving the advice I give to my female friends when they have relationship trouble- all blokes are arseholes. This one sounds like no exception, and if he really has treated you like that as Sickpup said, he may be your best friend but you obviously ain't his.

Just be glad it's come to light now, and not a year further on down the line or whatever. Get some of your friends together and go out for a girly night on the town, let your hair down and have a laugh, then move on and look for another bloke when you feel up to it.

I'm single Shifty
