is it OK to blast into the caliper with pads in place or do you need to take everything apart? TA

Um, if it was me i would take the pads out to clean the pistons propperly by pumping them out a little bit but that depends how far out they are already, if there on the end of their stroke dont pump them out at all and just clean em with a tooth brush etc. Am unsure it will soak into the pads so cant comment on keeping them in.

Take the callipers off their mounts, stick a spanner or screw driver between the pads, pump the pistons out then use the cleaner and a tooth brush to give them a spruce, should only take an hour tops.

I regularly give mine a quick shimmy of the can of cleaner. Although now I wear glasses, since when I was doing my front's the other month, it sprayed off, hit me in the eye and caused to cry uncontrollably for over 2 hours.
