Hello all,

Soon gonna be starting the motorbike thing. I'm interested in something with a bit of off road capability for 'green-laning'.

I like the look of the DT125's and I've seen one locally:

Price 1,899

Is this good value please?

dt125 has and always will be the best 125 trailey out, kmx 125 aint bad but all 125's of a muchness Very Happy

what does the dt put out derestricted?
i was told it is like 18bhp.
also what does the kmx put out?
my mates power wheelies in first and its standard apart from an end can.

And another question (told you I'd have a few)... where on earth can you buy new DT's?

I look on Yams website and cant see them anywhere!

Also, would I be better asking chatting in the New Bikers threads?

For the price of a new bike you could get yourself through the DAS test and buy yourself a much more capable bike than a DT125.

DT125 should be ok greenlaning I'd think.

As Joe suggests, though - for that money you could pass your bike test and get something like an XR250, which isn't too much heavier, but is more suited for green laning.
