hey guys just having a few probs with the bike, hopefully someone will know whats up with it. It seems everytime/very often when i change gear the dam pedal is soo stiff as in its hard for me to change gear the pedal just wont move however sometimes its sweet but mostly its not it actually takes a lot of effort to change gear... this problem has only started happening ever since that dam snow where i accidently left the bike outside

im not sure but i think when im at higher speeds as in 40-50+ gear changing is easier but at low speeds its stiff.....also to get it into neutral is such a massive pain only way i can do it sometimes is by switching engine off then putting it into neutral or.. I can put it into neutral when im going slow as in <10mph if im at standstill and the engine is running it is near impossible

sprockets and chain a brand new changed them at X-mas

You might aswell start by changing the gear oil again for what it'll cost you, won't hurt either. My RGV needed the oil changing every couple k miles to keep the gearchange sweet.

I have put some WD40 around the pedal also on the break pedal, as that is stuck if i push the lever on that it remains down i have to physically pull the pedal back up again...Anyways ive put WD40 on both pedals if that dont work then i'll change the gear oil and put greece on the break pedal. Hopefuly that will sort it.

Dam you snow!!! lol Neutral

Also any other ideas if that is not the case tho?

It was completely stuck but with some oil and alot of abuse it eventually gave in, after about 20 minutes riding.

I put WD40 on and some more greace put still no luck i think it isnt the pedal and is something on the inside. Dont have a clue what else it could be. And it is now starting to worry me. Im going to change the gear oil over the weekend sometime.
But like what else could it be if its not the gear oil?

Adjust the clutch, check the chain is adjusted correctly, and check the gear change shaft is not bent (can happen if the chain snaps).

All the best
