 |
|
It would seem my MPG is considerably better after buying my new cans. I just filled up 17l after doing 190miles, I used to get 170 miles out of 19/20l.
My old MPG could go to as little as under 40 whereas now I'm getting 50+. I'm confused I have been doing similar rides which break down to about 40% motorway 40% in town 20% spirited in the lanes.
Would new cans increase MPG buy this much? If so that is probably the best £440 I have ever spent! ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |

depending on what bike you have/ how old it is, there have been a few reviews (i think in RIDE) sowing that you can get better fuel economy with a free-er flowing exhaust as with current noise regs one of the manufacturers tricks is to set the bike to run rich so un-burnt fuel makes it as far as the exhaust, causing it to sound quieter

Scorpian cans are supposed to be the most accurate with regards to matching the existing fuelling requirements, according to a dyno test by DIRE mag or similar....

Surprised that nobody has mentioned that it may just be due to him riding at lower revs to keep the noise down |
