anyone taped a cam on their bike or helmet.
note it has to be a flat picture camera, or a camera phone, seeing as i have no other device to record Wink

I was thinking of this the other day. I don't know why I would do it though, I don't ride crazy, I'm not that funny, but it's something I would like to do.

Not that I've done it, but I'm sure something could be done with gaffa tape. Wouldn't want to damage paint work when taking it off though...

not worried getting new tank and new lid soon. need to see the speedo, doing it purley to record wheelies.

Can't you just put it in a tank back with the lens peaking out, less chance of it falling off

Have a look at the things mountain bikers (bicycles) do. There's some people doing some serious helmet-cam stuff on many of the podcasts (vidcasts) and magazines (e.g. Singletrack).

a lad on poo tube slotted his phone inbetween his face and breath deflecter thing that clips into your helmet.

seemed okay but never tried it.

I do recall a thread on here from about a year back where someone had produced an impressive gaffa tape setup to record from their standard digital camera mounted on their tank. in General bike video section AFAIK. Can't remember who it was.

Please post the videos up on youtube when you're done.
