Will warped disk fail MOT?

Simple as really. The front brakes work fine but you do feel a knocking under braking. I've got the MOT in a couple of months but should I be worried?

I would say most probably yes it will fail. My car failed for having scored brake discs when the pads were really worn down. Warped disc is far worse if you ask me.

Warped disk will fail. If the disc is warked you'll fell the lever pulse when breaking. If its making a knocking noise it could be the bearings.

A warped disk should fail the MOT (if badly warped), but it is one of those things they might not notice.

I rarely use the front brake anyway but always keep it covered by my hand through traffic. I use engine braking mostly and the rear brake for the light stuff. It does pulse under braking and has been happening since a Croydon Council van disliked me so it must be a dodgy disk. No idea which one though as it looks fine. I'll see if I can take it apart this weekend to have a better look.

What type of disk doesn't corrode/rust? I think cast is the type I don't want isn't it?
