Hi,
I have a rieju rs2 matrix 50 cc i have a slight problem when im going along it starts juddering like there is no fuel but as soon as i put my choke on its fine.
i have changed the spark plug and looked at the carb looks fine and clean.
i want to get this sorted asap so any help or guidence would be very much appreciated.

if it conks out when you close the choke then your engine is probibly a bit bunged up - especialy if its a 2 - stroke because of the oil . if bike has been stood for a bit petrol evaperates leaving oil in engine. clean the engine just try with a small brush with petrol on if not strip it and clean it.

Wardy, his bike goes FINE when he puts the choke on ,that indicates an air leak as it then overcomes the excess air,look for split carb boot ,no air filter loose clips etc,etc,before having to strip the carb for a blocked jet Thumbs Up

what do you mean by on - do you mean its closed as in lets small amount of air though or open as in lets more air though?

I have the same bike as you.

Between the carb and air box there is a rubber ring which connects the two. On side is secured by a jubilee clip and the other side has nothing to stop its from slipping out. This is probably your problem its may have come out slighty. Take off your fuel tank and then push it back into place if it is out.

hey,

is the airbox/intake Stock or have you put a sports one on?

have you adjusted the air screw to help it flow better?

Any other Modifications onit?

no it has no modifications on accept front and rear sprocket.
but i have just fixed the problem it was the bit betwenn the carb and the air box was loose.

Very Happy thought it might be, crappy design. Happens alot to me on my rieju and i just have to pull over and fit it in again properly.
