RPM..

So my bikes RPM goes upto 12000 RPM, the limiter kicks in at 10, what do you reccomend I change gear at, 8-9000 RPM?

I just change up when it doesn't seem to be getting much faster.

On low power bikes, I think changing up at high RPM is quite important as otherwise it doesn't really carry over to the next gear.

I've shifted up early and my 50 just kind of dies and doesn't accelerate

If I change gear just before the rev limiter kicks in, will in wear the bike out faster and have more of a chance of fucking something up?

I don't know, probably. But it'll be more fun than changing at low revs.

Run the bike in first. Believe it's 600 miles.

And do you honestly plan on keeping the 125?

If you don't then do what you like

Keep the gearbox oil topped up

Hi

Unlikely to be any real point in revving it in to the red. Probably change up somewhere around 10k. However you might find that peak power is well under that so no point in even revving that high.

And do run it in first.
