Does anyone know of any good site to get eBooks for free?
I know about https://www.gutenberg.org/ and have found a few on Google but they seem fairly shite. Can anyone recommend some to me? ____________________ I spend all my money on bikes and beer, the rest I simply waste! |

I usually grab collections from torrent sites, get some bad characters and miss-scans but they're usually eminently readable (I keep a few dozen book on my phone for those moments when I need occupying).
I can recommend THIS ONE as a good basis to start an ebook library if you're a bit of a nerd ____________________ I'm immortal. Well, so far. |

If you make use of usenet/newsgroups and find a decent indexing site (like newzbin, although the 'books' are closed on this now) then you will find literally hundreds of thousands on virtually any topic you can think of, I have about 40gb stored of various material so im never short of a good read

Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip. |

Not recently, used one of the early Sony readers and hated the thing. Felt flimsy, fairly unresponsive to use and broke regularly. I just use my phone screen now, not as much hassle as you'd think and has never given me a headache (using a W960i).
I'm a bit of a traditionalist though, the ebooks are just for filling time. If I'm reading for pleasure then I would far rather have a book in my hands, something about the smell of a fresh book and the crisp feeling of new pages under your fingertips. I should probably go away now ____________________ I'm immortal. Well, so far. |

I have that in paperback and have read it a few times. It's very good and certainly deserves a place in my digital library as well ____________________ I spend all my money on bikes and beer, the rest I simply waste! |
