DIY paddock stand

While looking for ideas for how to jack my bike up to do the fork seals, I came accross this:

Seems like a great idea, and could be used for both the front or back. Anyone on here ever used anything like this before?

Not sure if even an EL250 will be quite low enough to do it reasonably; can't see it being so great on non-cruiser bikes.

I remember seeing a pic in Performance Bikes about 10+ years ago of someone who had made a rear paddock stand out of a shopping trolly! Looked like it worked really well too!
