Abba stand has been mentioned on here once or twice.
Having now properly watched the demo vid, and with jobs I'm gonna need to do, I'm soooo getting one. ____________________ CBR125|||GSXR400|||CBR400|||CBR400|||CB250RS|||GSXR750|||CB250RS

Aha, the pic looks like a great idea!
Problem with the side stand method is noone would help me in my house! Not really got any mates that i would trust with holding the weight of me bike, but i guess they could measure. Sad state of affairs tbh.
I'll have a butchers at the abba stand if I can
Cheers for the info! ____________________ Other nations, the French, looked at a dining table and saw an opportunity to have dinner. We looked at a dining table and saw an opportunity to play wiff waff! - Boris Johnson |

Thus saying if your sidestand is in good condition ... should only be a problem if the sidestand is a bit dodgy to start with. |

If it has a tube under the frame, you can put it on the sidestand, slide a bar through it, then stick an axle stand underneath the bar (on the other side of the sidestand) lift the bike up using the bar/axlestand as the pivot point, then slide the other axle stand under the bar on the sidestand side.
Then you have this;

Only works if there is that tube to slide your bar into, of course. In the case of the NSR i think it was originally meant for the main stand. Not sure if yours will have one.
Only downside is i have to remove the lower fairings to do it.
That said, i do like gsxrmick's ratchet strap idea. Think i'll do it that way next time ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |
