Had a bad day so far.

a) took bird to train station for her to go home for holidays Sad

b) my mates car i was in we hit a BUS trying to get out the car park.

c) coming back home along duel carriage way my front brake caliper bolt fell off Shocked Wtf. I know they were tight about a week ago because i have checked them a few times as i could feel some play.

So i am thumping along at 80 + and had NO brakes ( don't have a rear working on that suppost to have a drum) but good old 600 single saved the day. Kick it down the gears Very Happy no problem.

Lucky i didn't do a danny as the caliper was hitting the wheel F**K

Praying to biker gods for making it happen when no traffic and just me on the bike.

sorry just venting

while i am at it complaining Confused

going around the M25 and the sodding fuel tap broke. The tube that come out the back that you connect a pipe to fell out and pissed fuel all up passengers leg. And more importantly lost a load of fuel Mad but with some hair bands was easily fixed on the hard shoulder Thumbs Up

Ouch you were lucky then matey. Wink

I was going down a steep hill a couple of weeks ago on my DT when the brake lever just went all the way in and the brakes didn't do a damn thing. I was jumping on the bloody gear lever to get it to change down! The engine braking on a 125 stroker isn't that good so I was lucky with traffic too. I stripped the caliper off and the brake pads had disintegrated and had squashed down. Rolling Eyes

I've got Carbone Lorraines on there now and the brakes are really good. Thumbs Up

HOLY **** Shocked

Exactly what bike were you riding? guess its a reminder to us all check your brakes condition often and if anything is iffy with your brakes DON'T RIDE IT!

Where was your rear brake at the time hmm? Razz

Glad you did not end up falling foul of the bcf curse of doom™

time for a new bike LOL , i just got it Cool

wasn't exspecting it not to break down, did only cost £650. coming up with a cunning nylock bolt spacer instead of the made one for the front wheel caliper mount.

Will have my other KLR mot'd this week so might just use my spare Very Happy
