How much is left on the stump? Could you attach a bit of threaded bar to it using a couple of jubilee clips or some cable ties? Could you slide a bit of tubing over the stump and hold it in place with a small bolt right through it?
It would need to be a very good welder to patch up an alloy brake lever. I've seen it done but it takes a lot of skill. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

the lever snapped about half way down
i did think about putting a bar across holding the two peices together but because its a curved lever it wouldnt hold very well
stinkwheel i think i might take a hacksaw to the mop and try your tubing and a bolt idea , sounds like a good one
cheers for the replies |

just mind when bodging it as when you need to squeeze the lever hard is when it may fail ____________________ ZX636C6F road. ZX636C1H track. ZX7R redundant. ZX0.5R minimoto as ornament.
