Prefer night if it's in the summer as it's still light and not as stupidly hot as in the day. In the winter i prefer day because when it gets dark it's stupdily cold and you can't watch for ice or road salt, not easily anyway.

Don't mind it in the day, depends really as sometimes you catch a quiet moment. The only thing i hate about night is animals running out and loads of chavs that can't driver properly are out.

love the solitude of riding at night, but dislike the lack of visibility through corners and on straights when not on full beam, but still love riding in daylight even more Mr. Green

I love night riding, but not if its particularly fast ...can't see enough information to really hoon, has to be a scorcher of a day with a nice breeze.

riding through the city at night is sweet though.

Daytime - nothing like a warm late summer day on a track.

I'm used to the night riding, the solitude of the M1 with the missus asleep on the back settling down for another 100miles of nothing, I find it relaxing. Also the A16 on my usual way home at midnight after putting the GF to bed I just find it relaxing as the M1 I just fell as though I drift off for 100 miles.

What if she falls asleep and kind of 'flops' off the side of the bike?!

Definitely day riding right now, can't see anything at night, manhole covers, ice, salt, white lines(there's a damn few of these i'm finding now i ride a bike)

i prefer riding at nights, coz some how i get the feeling of complete freedom, no phone calls to disturb, no office work, no tensions....
and if the weather is good then, it adds to the flavour

Daytime wins hands down!

A nice warm sunny afternoon at a race track, climb on the bike and head off down the pit lane is just bliss!!!

Night time is nice for a bit of rexaled, slow cruising.

Thumbs Up

I have to say day as the lights on my bike might as well be a couple of candles for all the light they give out, but a summer evening is by far the best time to be out on the bike.

Night riding - but then I spent most of my first 10 thousand miles riding after dark.
