Carb mixture screw

can any tell what it does when you turn the screw clockwise, and unclockwise, because i cant remenber to save my life,

and also roughly how many turns is it on a rs125

hope that makes sense

If we're on about the mixture screw as apposed to the idle screw then it's going to alter the amount of fuel:Air being taken into the carb.

I believe increased turns out (anticlockwise) will increase fuelling resulting in a richer mix and turns in (clockwise will lean off the mix) decreasing fuelling.

Or perhaps it's allowing less air in when unscrewed and more air in when screwed in although i think my first answer was right.

My RX-S was the opposite to that. I unscrewed the screw (anti-clockwise) and the mixture became leaner.

hi,
depends on whether its the 28mm or 34mm carb.
one has an air adjust screw, t'other has a mixture adjust screw
