 |
|
Hi there... i have just recently turned 16 about 2 months ago and i bought a Derbi Senda DRD. the bike is fairly new but is a cat C write off but still useable...
just wandering what i can do to prolong its life...
i do about 100 miles daily on it which is normally flat out all the way. i need my bike for college, work (and for cruzin lmao) and i no its not going to last long the way its going...
if any of you have any ideas e.g. big bore kit and performance parts and just restrict it to around 55ish again just to keep the revs down or something..
any response is much appreciated..
cheers sam ____________________ Current Bikes: Kawasaki zx6 g2 (my everyday transport), vfr400 project, honda crf250 (currentely with smashed crank cases) projects: 720cc 2stroke jetski engine, mini moto engined push bike |

ahhh fair enough.... not really after top speed as it goes along quite happily at around 50mph which is alright... but its driving at 50mph flat out for 100miles daily which must be melting the engine lol..
thanks sam
EDIT
not too keen on restricting the bike.... 30mph seems a little bit scary to use on main roads whith lorries flying past me lol ____________________ Current Bikes: Kawasaki zx6 g2 (my everyday transport), vfr400 project, honda crf250 (currentely with smashed crank cases) projects: 720cc 2stroke jetski engine, mini moto engined push bike |

www.50cc.nl
you will find parts for most 2t bikes on here, id imagine there are a fair selection for the derbi senda aswel, the parts come from holland so prices are in euros but are still cheaper than most UK parts, you do have to wait for delivery and pay the import costs though
might not be much help but i thought id mention it anyway |

A Derbi Senda should go at least 55mph de restricted, isn't that fast enough for a 50.
But yeah stay away from big bore kits. ____________________ Yamaha R125 - Cagiva Mito 125 - Honda CBR 600
