I'm saving for a Ninja at the moment, and not sure how much money I might have.
Just wondering if anyone has ridden both of these bikes and if they had an opinion on which one they preferred.
Is the J1 worth the extra money?

A friend of mine just brought a J, As G says, compared to my '99 his one has got clocks that light up and spin round when you turn the ignition on, Dual Oval headlights rather than the big stonking kwaker single on the G:

Having ridden both i prefer my own, but then i have it set up how i like, basically the same bike, my advice would be buy which ever you can find for the best deal, make sure there is some history to confirm the mileage - https://www.motinfo.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECHID-Internet-History-Request.jsp ____________________ [Current Bikes - GSXR-750 K5 & C90-97 ] [Previous Bikes: Runner 125, YBR 125, GS500, Bandit 600, Hornet 600, ZX6R-99, C90-99, R1-99, XT600E-04, GSXR-750 K4, CRF250L '16] |

I reckon I'll just go for a nice tidy G rather than a tatty J.
If I could afford an A1P I still wouldn't get one, something about 'em I don't really like.
A B1h on the other hand.. *sexwee* ____________________ Don't practice it until you get it right, practice it until you don't get it wrong.

choose the J, the G looks a lot more dated, mainly thanks to the ugly front end |

It is, but i cant take credit, found it on bike-pics.com, i think its some hungarian dude...
But go for the G Moonie, I think the front looks better...
Whichever one you go for look out for the brakes on them, the front 6 pots are bad when abused and neglected... ____________________ [Current Bikes - GSXR-750 K5 & C90-97 ] [Previous Bikes: Runner 125, YBR 125, GS500, Bandit 600, Hornet 600, ZX6R-99, C90-99, R1-99, XT600E-04, GSXR-750 K4, CRF250L '16] |
