urgent help please. cbr 125

cbr 125. 04 or 05.

Rear wheel. "grinding noise"

I take it home, have a look at it, seems bent or something. Take rear wheel off.
I pull the sprocket off with half of the cush drive stuff and all these bearings fall out, bits of broken and sheared metal. Some spacer type things and a rubber seal.

I would like to know if anyone has some sort of exploded diagram of this.

Anyone had this happen before?
It is not the wheel bearing, 99% sure its not anyway.

Can anyone explain what these parts are called techincally. I don't want to be asking for "cush drive bearing thingys"

There are usually three wheel bearings, two in the hub and the third in the sprocket carrier. The one in the sprocket carrier probably has a sleeve that slides into the inside of the bearing.

The two bearings in the wheel will have a tube between them. There will be a seal on the outside two bearings that you can still see when the wheel is fitted to the bike.

Yes the wheel bearings are fine. It is the sprocket carrier bearing.
It doesn't look like a bearing at the moment because it has broken and fallen apart.

The chain was loose prior to this incident aswell. I have found bits of it e.g. the balls and the centre piece with a groove round the middle for the balls to sit in.

Anyone know where I can buy one of these? Online preferably.


The owner has said she needs it on the road asap so im thinking if I can't get a bearing quick enough, buy an entire wheel and fix the broken one in the meantime.
