help please!

im going to look at a bike in 2 hours that i may be buying, its a gs125..but i dont know what to look at, people have told me, but to be honest im not sure where the parts they spoke about are!

can anyone give me a basic listing of what to look for, and where it is?

Although I'm no real expert, good things to check for at least are:

General condition: tyres (are they legal/old/past it/ etc
Brakes: Do they work!
Engine: does it run? Sound ok (just general, no big knocks or funny noises?)
Paperwork: Is it legit and legal? Check the V5 against engine and chassis numbers, if they don't match, ask why. If you get a funny answer, walk away!
Any leaks from engine/gearbox etc.
Any other paperwork: Service history? MOT? Tax?
Pretty much common sense stuff from me.

Hope that helps a bit. I'm not very technical, so looking for specifics with that particular bike are out of my league.

thanks that helps a lot! also, how do i check the brakes? i cant ride the bike..i've never ridden a motorbike in my life! just push it foward and pull them?
