Completed my CBT a couple of weeks ago and just passed my theory today 1st time 50 out of 50 on the multiple choice yay but unfortunately only just scraped through the hazard perception which is annoying me cause ive been driving for 2 years previous to starting on bikes and i was doing fine on the practice software i bought im sure the hazard perception software is rubbish cause i always apparently see hazards too soon?! make sense NO lol o well a pass is a pass.
i havnt quite sorted a bike yet although i was absolutely itching to just buy any 125 after my CBT but ive waited and a friend of mine is picking up a cagiva mito tonight to take for a test ride and take to my mates garage to look over it, tried to this before but as the bike had been sat for the last couple of months it wouldn't start as we had feared but now (finally) its come out of service (which was well overcharged :@ 520quid for new brake pads all round, tank drained and hoses/jet flushed, new clutch lever and bolt and new chain and sprocket set! they charged 7 hours labor!!!) so its now going for £1000 instead of £700 but if its mechanically sound i think im gonna go for it but i know i have got to make sure i look after it and do routine checks to keep it in shape
practical test is booked for the 19th of dec and ive got 2 days training before then so im looking forward to that.
Just wanted a rant really any one got any views on the bike or anything just say .
Thanks guys |

welcome to bcf i wouldnt spend 1k on a mito if your test is in like a weeks time. waste of money?? just wait till youve passed, a grand will go further on a big bike than on a 125. ____________________ Turbocharged drag thing / project death weapon / GK73A
Ste: I'm not entirely sure how you'd go about verbally abusing someone with a potato but I'm sure it's possible. |
