It was a good day out, but G was almost wiped out by the organisation and logistics of it all.
Especially as he had a job interview on the following Monday.
Still, I would be up for doing it again at some point, but we just need someone to 'volunteer' to organise it! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

Ok, sounds like we have some interest
Just so everyone is clear, there are two distinct ways Hully run minimotos.
You have arrive and drive (ride) be it on your own bike or hire bike, or a GP, they are run on completely different nights.
The GP is fun, but it is all done on hire bikes and needs arranging/booking. The arrive and drive is just that, so needs no prior booking/arranging, so we just name a night and who shows, shows, it makes no odds organisation wise as you don't need to book (perhaps a quick check they have a few hire bikes available).
As I said the GP is fun ... but if you are like me and take competition far too seriously, then you can end up getting overly aggressive ... like I did when I did a GP ... it was basically the final and I was chasing the win ... some lass got in the way, so I 'leant' on her and she panicked ... resulting in her coming off ... at the fastest corner of the track ... my-bad!! With her 'staying down' and making a meal of it like a footballer, it turned a fun evening into a bit of a mare ...
So in short, personally I am game for an arrive and drive (especially as I have my own bike) but would probably not be as keen on a GP.
Anyway, that is the score with arrive and drive and the GP, so it's up to you guys really. ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |

Karts were fun but I prefered mini motos. I would have to hrie one as I dno't have a mini moto and I doubt I could take one on the back of the NC30!
But definately sounds fun. What sort of date you aming for though? I highly doubt I can do before Christmas... ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600

I used my own leather jacket helmet and gloves. Wore trainers, and jeans. They have their own knee sliders which you can wrap around. Well this place did anyways.
It's hard to get used to it. For the first couple of minutes anyways. Then I was pushing it (well compared to most) ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600
