I've found that it is possible to fit the 120 degree bulbs in a 180 degree holder if you carefully file one of the pins off the bulb. The remaining pin is sufficient to hold the buld in afterwards.
Or I suppose you could just buy the right type bulb... ____________________ Yamaha YZF-R6 |

Thanks guys, I'll give the filing a go and see what happens, are those pins just to hold it in?
When the bike is reving quite high the indicators work nearly perfectly ____________________ Aprilia RX50 Racing 2005 |

Okay, tested the filed down bulbs, the originals that were in it with the new indicator holders, they worked but they have the same problem as the new bulbs.. They also got very hot, very quickly
They are constantly on when the bike is at idle and until it revs quite high (my bike doesnt have a revometer ) then they work perfectly. That must be the way they're meant to work
If I just get it serviced, will they sort it out?
Thanks ____________________ Aprilia RX50 Racing 2005 |
