Well as everyone pointed on getting pissed isnt going to solve anything apart from give us a cofusing post.

As for saying your mother dosnt know responsibility, your 19 and dont sound like you know it either. You are an adult! You should be independant by now and have moved on if the beatings where so bad. Sorry if that sounds harsh But you really have to step up here no moaning or whinning because your only 19 and have to go through this. Poeple have been through it younger and managed to battle on without getting pissed and feeling sorry for themselves.

No it isnt fair that you should but thats how life is. I owned my own house when I was 19 ffs!and was out of my parents when I was 17.

I cant understand the last paragraph of what you said, sorry.

Just be strong, stand up and do whats best without getting pissed and crumbling away while being bitter at other people. if your mums dying then then this is not the time for pointing the finger at your dad or siblings, look after her if you have to.

Hang in there.

Try and be there for your mum without it taking over your life.

At about your age, my mum was going through a difficult time and I wasnt really there for her, and just shut out the problems hoping she'd sort herself out in time.

She didnt, so I guess maybe I should have given her a bit of tlc at the time.

At the same time though, you still need to not lose sight of your own life an goals.

Try to dig deep and find some inner strength so you can deal with the problems rather than running away into a bottle or whatever.

I get the feeling 'Silky' doesn't like 'Warp' but maybe he should learn something about the karma system Laughing

Rating the original post 'off topic' (in 2 separate posts) is not really a clever thing to do Wink How can the original post be 'off topic' Rolling Eyes

I have nothing against Warp at all ... in fact have found some of his posts to be both amusing and informative.

Its the 2 posts about 1) his father and 2) some bike video that I thought were either intensely attention whorish or simply in the wrong section.

I agree that I may have something to learn about the Karma system ... but in my simple little world the topic was the section title ??? ie: the bike video should have been in the 'found on the net' or the 'bike videos' sections.

But I will be more carefull with the Karma rating in future - I am new to this forum malarkey and only just getting used to the interweb at my age !

Control you?

Maybe then, this is the ideal opportunity for you to grow up.
