The price reflects the quality.

I've had mine about 2 weeks,worn them twice in the dry and the soles look like there starting to come apart already
maybe i just got a bad pair *shrugs*

I suppose for £30 who cares what the quality is like.
A few days ago i went form here down to york to look at a bike.
It was only about 70miles away but my feet were absolutly numb.

Luckily i decided to take my rigger boots (work boots) with me in my tank bag,so wore them on the way home.
Feet were nice and warm the whole way back. (ok maybe not warm,but no where near as cold as they were with the bike boots)
Rigger boots are also 100% waterproof like wellies.

One sole came almost completely off (from ball of foot to heel) so I had it repaired (stapled) at a shoe repair place. The other has now come unstuck down one side but I've not had chance to get it fixed so I'm using it as it is for now.

I don't think I'd buy them again.

i cant comment on vortex boots but i got a second hand pair of black RST forza's on ebay.

Not had any issues with the soles at all and they've been dry even in heady rain.

One issue is that the velcro is stronger than the stitching up the side so the velcro patch is coming off instead of detaching

As previously mentioned, you get what you pay for

Well, thanks for the advice guys.

Ended up in Hein Gericke after trying on some of the budget boots and didn't feel comfortable with them as they didn't inspire any confidence.

Ended up with Bullson boots for about a ton, a lot more than I wanted to spend but I thought at what price a broken ankle so sod the extra £50.

Your help appreciated - made me see sense in the end lol
