I have 5 invites for the music streaming service spotify, if you haven't heard of it you can read about it at www.spotify.com but basically it's a music streaming service that will stream pretty much any song you could want, free of charge.

It's paid for with the occasional advert, in my time using it (4 days) i've only heard 2 ads. The free service is invite only so if you'd like one PM me your email address.

If you're in to your music you really should give this a try, it's awesome!

Thumbs Up

The free version is open now and I've just got it. Not quite as good as Pandora but technically it's superb and works flawlessly!

What ever happened to Pandora? I quite liked that, it was a neat little program.

Pretty much stick to using audioscrobbler/last.fm now though, as it tracks what you listen to which I like.

Might give this spotify thing a go though.

I've had a fair few adverts, but much better than 'actual' radio, I'm liking so far Thumbs Up.

If the people you gave the invites to get invites they should share them.

Probably not worth giving them to someone that can't be bothered to read the thread Razz.

I think it's one advert every 30 mins, which is much better than any commercial radio station Thumbs Up
I've been using it for about a week now and am finding it a little repetitive, but it's certainly worth having.

I like it for choosing any Album (that I've tried so far)... on my 'radio' thing I've got Alternative, Country, Funk, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Rock selected from the 60s to 00s. Don't think I've had any repetition at all.

Would be nice to have some classical in there too.

Lol, I didn't realise you could pick more than one genre of music for the radio! That will make a big difference Smile

Yeah, bump this up again!

It's so practical to have on your netbook/notebook. You don't have to carry your mp3 collections with you anymore. So what if you have to hear occasional ads, streaming your selected songs and making your own playlits is awesome!

Much better than last FM since you can stream whole albums!

Pandora sucked because you couldn't repeat songs and it eventually got disabled for non-us customers due to licensing laws.

I've got this on my netbook! Looks like it's definitely not mobile internet friendly due to the data quantities streamed even if you're only listening for 6 hours.
