Why name them? They are fish they all get flushed down the bog in the end. I have a Tank full of the buggers and they are all called fish.
Only name them when they are dead, then its 'Bob' as that's what they do on the surface.

Do you know what sex they are? Be a bit silly to call a girl fish by a boy's name.
I keep it nice and simple by naming all my pets George* which could be either a boy's name, or short for Georgina.
Expect your plant to die fairly soon - there are very few (if any) variegated aquatic plants, most of them are more suited to marginal planting, but not fully submerged.
*From an old Bugs Bunny cartoon with the Abominable Snowman: "I will love him and kiss him and hug him and pet him and call him George."
