I guess the main reason is because it is on the road outside the house.
Changing from the lowest insurance post code, to the highest insurance post and moving from a brick walled garage to street parking, over doubled my insurance with less than 6 months to go on it. Over tripled for a years.

i paid 1 grand for a new rs 125 for the first time at age 19. however i live in the worse area possible and only have a provisional license :p
so i think a 600 at your age is reasonable. maybe you can get it down by phoning people and saying i am phoning around,. do you price match and what is your best quote? ____________________ Hit the G spot. |

I generally find that The Bike Insurer comes out with the cheapest quote! ____________________ 1980 Suzuki TS50 ~ 1984 Honda CB400N ~ 1992 Triumph Trident ~ 1998 Suzuki Bandit 1200 |

hmm, 18, restricted, parked on the road, no alarm... cant see things getting much better with those elements. maybe waiting a bit til you can get those cleared up before getting your dream bike. ____________________ 2006 Yamaha FZ1 - the comfy R1 |
