Right then, this is how she was when I picked her up. Totally standard:

A pic showing the fugly rear end arrangement:

Done a couple of much needed cosmetic changes yesterday:

I think the Racefit is going to have to go though, just to loud. I love it, but don't think the local plod will approve.

Still to come are:

Arrow Much needed steering damper
Arrow Braided Lines
Arrow Thinking about green rim tape (undecided)
Arrow Different can
Arrow Original Kawasaki seat pod

Laughing , yeah that would of been me, went over to see a friend in Rocester.

Fucking tax disc fell out when I pulled of the A50 BP, so if it comes floating past your house let me know. Mr. Green

Don't know about fitment to other bikes, but I suppose so long as your headers end in the same place as mine it should fit. I'll measure the bore tomorrow.

The rear looks much, much better now. A lllN30lll style number plate would set it off a treat.

Not too keen on the slash cut on a sports bike.

The diameter of the Racefit is 55mm if anyone's interested. To be honest I'd keep it, but with 9 points on the old licence I could do without Police interest.

Same reason that I went for the 7x5 number plate instead of something a little more interesting.

Any opinions on this exhaust?

I don't really like the racefit slashcuts, the only slash i've ever seen I really liked was this one off bespoke thingy, bolted it to the headers and it had the most tiny pathetic silencer you've ever seen with the exit slash coming out where the link pipe cut is in the bottom fairing so it was completely flush with the bike, looked awesome. Oh and sounded like death itself.

Saying that...sometime last summer (well, if you can call it that Laughing) I saw a 10R with a growler come burning past me and it made my ears and bum bleed a little bit Thumbs Up

any one know if that can would affect the performance of the bike?, seeing as it has no baffles etc, just thought it might run a bit crap, i could get one for my bike but i dont wanna if its gonna run shite.

newer bikes that have stubby cans like that have the collector boxes under the bike, but if i put one on my b1h there will be nothing Neutral just like on the zx10 pictured.....

will it affect performance, surely it will be just like taking my can off totally??? Thumbs Up

It hasn't affected the performance on mine at all. A silencer is just that, serves only to silence exhaust gas.

I think you'll find that's a cat converter mate...removing the cat doesn't really affect the performance and your bike definitley won't run shit. It's EFI so it adjusts the air/fuel being drawn in itself, it's a bit like wizardry. Laughing Although to get any 'gains' out of the can, you'd need the ECU re-mapped/fit a PCIII.

Im considering a 10R in black when my insurance money finally comes from being bashed on my CBR, 3.5 fucking years ago.

I think a ZX10R would replace the R1 well, and that model is like the best looking ZX10R to date, the new ones look fucking awful!

Nice bike anyways! 9 points suck, I had 9 points a little while back. Only for 2 months though, but I would hate to be in that position again!

Reevo8: I quite agree. A D6F or D7F was within budget, but I think the C models are better looking, and by all accounts I've read a better bike. In all honesty, I prefer the looks of my old 750, but there's no doubting that the 10r is a better machine so I had to go with the times. I wish I could afford to keep the 7rs I have as well, but they gotta go to afford this beast.

JAMSXR: Get one, you won't regret it. My brand loyalty to Kawasaki has been rewarded!

MonkeyKnuckle: Yeah, it's made by Clear Alternatives. Piece of piss to fit.

Barry_MC21: If I had the cash I'd be after your ZXR-RR. Wink

Thanks to all for the nice comments. Think I've sold the Racefit to a guy on MCNNinjas though. Trying to get hold of an Arata or Yoshi at the moment.
