Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Ive got an '06 speed 4.
Ive had it about 18 months now and im very happy with it. Its comfy, reliable, well built and fun to ride.
I get about 120 miles before reserve, its not too hard on tyres/chains etc etc.
For the price you can pick one up for they are a bargain - they might not be as good as a street triple, but for the money you save over one i dont give a damn. |

Im thinking of putting renthals on mine, im going to fabricate a top yoke myself rather than pay out for one.
Mr jamez, how does affect the handling? |

I don't think I will ever own another sportsbike and leave the clip-ons attached. The bars give you a comfy and commanding position; they also encourage you to ride like a nob The only downside is that it widens the bike a bit, as with the clip-ons the speed four is really narrow.
The front comes up really easy on the power now in 1st gear, though I am very light. I bought the bike in november so haven't really given the bike any stick on the corners. Slow speed it seems exactly the same but 'high speed' who knows.
I think they should have come with bars from the factory. ____________________ NSR 125F > BROS 400 > NC30 > BROS 400 > Trumpet S4 > '97 VFR 750 |
