would you pay someone to clean your bike?
properly not just a bucket job.
a guy in stoke has just started to do bike valets and i was wondering how many people would use this kind of service..?
gotta say the results do look stunning when he has finished.my bike wasnt this clean when i bought it brand new..
now as you can tell i am one of the lazy buggers who cant be arsed to do a proper good job of cleaning my own bike..
money well spent in my opinion... ____________________ stoke@hg-shop.com

Nope.
You want a job doing right. do it yourself.
Then again, my policy is, my bike is to be riden, and not spotlessly clean.
It does not got noticably faster when clean, and still gets me from A2B just the same...
The only thing i do notice is that when i do clean it, it gets dirty again, where as if i leave it dirty it looks no diffrent
So why waste your time cleaning it.... ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

I take mine to the local "hand car wash", pay my £3 and a team of turks run round with sponges, hosepipes and cloths for five minutes.

I'd definitely pay for my bike to be cleaned, not stupid amounts for a proper clean though. More like Azonicben. I've considered using these hand car wash guys but not sure a) wether they'd do it without burning themselves, and b) if the end result would really be worth it since would they really get the wheels properly clean?
I also wonder about using these garage jetwash places - anyone used those for a bike? ____________________ Previous: Aprilia Habana Retro 50cc (beauty), Yamaha SR125 (fell apart), Honda XR125 (nippy little commuter), Honda SLR650 (Geewhizz), Yamaha Diversion 900S (Smoooooth) written off courtesy of a stupid escaped horse.

It would depend on how much they charged and how long they took. How much did it cost, how long did it take, and what was the bike, and how dirty was it to start with? Got any piccies? ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

Let us know who they are and how much they charge please.
Sometimes I love cleaning my bike, but most of the time I just can't be arsed with cleaning, which is why I still haven't prepped the two 7Rs for sale.
Might be worth it to me just as a way to spur me on in getting the other bikes sold instead of hooning around on the new one.
By the way, I popped in to Stoke HG to buy some cleaning stuff on Saturday, and it's still sitting at work waiting to be used! ____________________ Current: ZZR1400
