I know this is a symptom of a dead battery but mine is fine. I do have a Haynes and just remembered what you're talking about.
I did drop the engine so it'd be a bit of a fail if I had no clue what you're on about
The annoying thing is I recently moved and have no garage to work in.. I'll have to go to my mate's house on sunday or something...  |

Right, fixed it now. I couldn't believe it when I found the problem. The RAVE control unit was disconnected
You probably know it's located in the tail of the bike where nobody can possibly get to it. How could it disconnect by just riding the bike? Anyway problem solved and it's good to be back on 30 horses again  |
