never had a thou, but moved to up to my gsxr 750 from a yamaha thundercat cos i wanted a bit more grunt.
and im really not dissapointed.
theres no way that i can use all the power on a normal ride and its got enough grunt in it to still scare me a bit even after 3 months but its manageable (in temrs of power) and comfy enough (riding position) to commute every day (which i do).
Theres plenty of drive from low down in the revs, so unlike a 600 where you need to keep the revs up - you can quite happily sit in the midrange (i.e 6 - 8k revs) and still have loads of drive.
it really is a good bike - would highly reccomend ____________________ I have misplaced my pants.........

750 is a fantastic bike, and unless you are going drag racing you won't regret it

Then I'd say the 750 is perfect.
Riding one back to back after a 600 its clear to feel the difference in grunt.
I said it before and I'll say it again, the 750 is just a more powerful 600, not a less powerful 1000.
Its still a revvy natured little screamer. But, with midrange and a harder top end

I'm 6'2 and fit fine.
I'm very comfortable until the 200 mile mark, then the cramp starts to set in but that's a given with any out and out sports bike. ____________________ Suzuki GSX-R750K4 ~ Mivv GP |
