So yeah, the weather is awful, and i have no choice but to get on the bike and go to work, i walk it to the main roads that are all gritted, and drive slowly on my way.
On a main road, drivers are getting angry at me cause im doing 35 in a 50 zone, but screw it id rather be safe then get somewhere a bit faster.
Anyway a driver overtakes me, then gets infront of me, starts to wobble and brakes extremely heavily, he must of hit some ice, i then have a split second decision whether or not to try and brake, or to ram into the back of his car at 35, which would of either killed me or put me in hospital.
I step down on the back brake a bit, start to skid, let go and then sluightly apply my front, that was the worst thing i could have done looking back.
The bike flips me over sideways, and i slam right into the floor and hardly slight, the bike lands on me im stuck, the driver that overtook me, looks at me, probably thinks im dead, and drives off.....cunt.
Anyway as far as bike damage, fairing scratched and cracked to hell, adn front right indicator and fairing smashed in.
As far as damage to me, massive bruises down the whole right side and a well painfull hip from where i slammed.
SO anyone have any idea where i can get some Black and Silver colours 2003 nsr 125 RR fairing.
Peace
ps. Drivers are dicks |

as above, but i think you will do well to find them second hand in black/silver as there arn't many about.
i did pretty much the same once and looking back after i could have quite easily just swerved round it, but its not that simple when you have 0.0000001 seconds to react and your natural reaction is to brake, its hard to do both at the same time lol ____________________ 04 NSR 125(sold) ---- 03 CBR 600rr(sold) ----90 pan euro ST1100 ' ' ----02 CG 125

was there any witneses, did you involve the police?
You could streetfight your bike if you can't get fairings? or wait to get a set of fairings, also look on ebid (good ebay alternative)

dave silvers can order them in from honda, i asked for a price list of all new panels sometime last year, the big side ones were around £120 each, the seat cowl was £70 each side and nose cone comes in three parts which i think were around £40 each IIRC.
they should also have the ones your after(black/silver), not sure if the price is the same though as i was quoted for traditional red, white and blue ones ____________________ 04 NSR 125(sold) ---- 03 CBR 600rr(sold) ----90 pan euro ST1100 ' ' ----02 CG 125

the seat cowl is in 3 pieces- left, right, middle(bit under grab rail).
then there are 2 main fairings- left and right with inner fairing pieces at the front edge, but your old inner ones should still be ok.
front section is 3 external and 2 internal- left, right, middle and a left, right internal, the internal one may well have broken as mine did went i crashed it.
also the intake pipes are seperate aswell so you will have almost certainly scuffed one of them.
and your colour code is on a sticker under the seat, mine was R-127 but i think yours is NH-??? ____________________ 04 NSR 125(sold) ---- 03 CBR 600rr(sold) ----90 pan euro ST1100 ' ' ----02 CG 125
