I easily got an RXS100 into the back of a little Honda Jazz.
Now the Jazz is blessed with a huge, flat luggage area once the rear seats are down, but even so I was impressed with how well it went in.
Tarpaulin down in the back of the car.
Old single duvet for a bit of cushioning.
Drained petrol and removed 2 stroke oil tank.
Removed front wheel.
Dropped forks and mudguard out of the yokes (just 4 pinch bolts).
Lifted bike into car.
Closed the boot.
Be careful with leaving the boot open. As you drive an area of negative pressure develops in the back and draws the exhaust fumes into the car. In a hatchback or estate this can mean filling the whole car with exhaust fumes. Not a good idea. ____________________ 2016 CBF1000F - Commuter heaven | 1994 CBR600FR - Awaiting defibrillation |
