had a similar problem with my ninja for a while...turned out my clutch wasn't adjusted properly, so it wasn't being fully dis-engaged before i changed gear

Okay.
But how do I adjust the clutch like that ?
I mean...if the bike stands still with the engine running and in first gear or whatever, it does not move. So doesn't the clutch work then ?  |

hey i took mine back to the shop and asked and they said it was slack chain they fixed it and no clunk  ____________________ Ducati 1299 Panigale

The box on my rs clunks sometimes changing down even though the chains adjusted and new gearbox oil.
I think the box is going on mine though because I have a habbit of changing down without the clutch  |
