on my peugeot zenith 50 i have had to replace all my bulbs 3 times now.. this is because when i put my full beam on the lights on my dash light up really bright and start to flicker then the full beam blows.. but then i have to switch down to low beam which then blows as well after about 5 mins.. then follows through to back light and then brake light..i have taken to a garage where i bought the bike and they charged me £50. to just change the headlight bulb... but they didnt fix the fault.. it seems to be the same sequence every time.. any suggestions.. thanks

hi
well the last time that happend to me was on a yami rs100 about 27 yrs ago and the reason was the rectifier.
changed that and it was fine.

so if you can check the charging volts and see what you get.hth

well in that case check any earths you can find and look for any broken damaged wiring and check connector blocks etc although i think its a regulator or rectifier fault .

Is it a zenith l or m and what reg is it on? My R plate had a big white connector block under the front fairing whish had got wet through and corroded. The lights kept shorting out and blowing bulbs usually the tail light. It was sorted with some contact cleaner and a brass wire brush.
