I am a final year student at Loughborough University studying ergonomics. For my final year project I am looking
into the different control systems for motorcycle indicators (1, 2 or 3 button systems) and which is the most effective
design, as this has been a hotly debated subject with BMW using the 3 button system and Harley Davidson using the
two button system. Below is a quick questionnaire that would help me greatly if you could answer and send the answers
back to hugd2@lboro.ac.uk or just reply on the forum. You will remain completely anonymous through this process and
will be given a participant number for the investigation instead of using your real name.
Thank you for your time
1. What make and model of motorcycle do you own / use?

2. Is the motorcycle your primary for of transport?
3. How long do you ride a motorcycle for per week? (in hours)

4. How long have you been riding a motorbike for? (years and months)

5. Does the motorcycle you own / use have the 1, 2 or 3 button control system to operate the indicators?

6. Have you have any other experience with any of the other control systems for motorcycle indicators,
if so which system? ( if no then move to question number 8 )
7. If so which system did you prefer, and give an explanation for your answer.

you missed the indicators on the SR125 whereby you push to signal on a single switch the direction you want , but then move it back to the middle to cancel it.
Also a well dodgy system I saw on a few bikes which auto cancel. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

Forgive me for being cynical but could this person have possibly deliberately chosen a username that is similar to an existing member so as to not be bombarded with 'Spam' ratings? ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F

Dunno mate, there's a LOT of lufbra students knocking about that need to do their research/surveys for their disertation?
If he's a finallist, chances are, like me, they're born in 87
That said, i've been blabbering about BCF to the guys at the uni bike club for quite some time too though. ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1
