My house mate owns a PS3 and has guitar hero world tour, his guitar was a bit iffy so he did the online complaint thing, about 3 days later they had sent him a new guitar and he still has his old one. He needed to put in a serial number of his broken guitar but still if you had a unique one you could probably get one for free.

I've given it a go with one of the serials above, don't hold out much hope for that one. But i have put in a claim with a genuine serial (my own guitar) so hopefully that will go though ok. Different addresses of course.

I'll just tell them i chucked the old one away. Even if it were a legit claim why would anyone keep a knackered one after they recieve a new one.

I got one, left serial number blank

stuck it on ebay

it only works if you do 1 to your house.
i did several to my house and a mates, got nothing.
did 1 to my gf's and it turned up 2 days later

Very strange, I just done it for ps3 and it showed.

I have a ps3 one here still boxed (never taken out of box) if you want it for just the postage cost as it's no use to me. (just guitar, no receiver etc)
