This really wound me up, what an absolute disgrace. People barely have a freedom of speech as it is, yet they let people protest against soldiers coming back from tour?

If i was there i don't think i would of been able to hold back, a brick would of been going straight into one of their faces!

I don't have a problem with people demonstrating what they want, it's the fact that the government seem to pick and choose who they allow to demonstrate.

Although i am going to put my hands up and say i'm a hypocrite, there isn't any point in my lying.

I just find it interesting to see what other people think, i don't vent my views too often on forums otherwise i get angry and cause arguments.

I'm not a racist. I have many friends of different cultures, and I enjoy learning about other nations.

But if some fucking muslim scum decided they were going to do that in my town, they and their family would get a good kicking, to the point where it was clear, if you don't like our country, get the fuck out of here before we make you.

About 2 weeks ago there was something similar to this in Canterbury.
On the high street there were army recruiter people, fair enough, and they were talking to people. Some muslim went up to them and started shouting about how the army kills his people. The soldier promptly dropped him, out of pride and indignance, and then the police discovered that he was 'disgusted by the behaviour of one we have allowed to share in our country'. He got off, which is decent.

There is a danger here that all muslims are tarred with the same brush. Thats all these reports tend to do, demonise the majority for the actions of a tiny minority. But then, this fuels our fears furthering the 'terrorist' agenda.

As for kicking the crap out of those who decide to do this type of thing, I think not. You lower yourself to their level and cause moderates (like myself) to be tarred with the same brush as you.

Tolerance works both ways. Let them spout their bile, I like to think the vast majority of the people in this country (of all religious ilks) are mature and informed enough to dismiss this tiny majority for what they are: mislead and possessed of very poor judgement.

Just a couple of points to bear in mind.

The vast majority of Iraqi casualties are killed by other muslims, albeit one from a different branch/sect/group. A bit like the mormons blowing the shit out of the baptists. So lets have a little less of the 'baby-killing british soldiers' shall we "Lord Haw Haw" Sond?

And if, as so often trotted out by the Islamofascist apologists, it's only a teeny tiny minority of muslims who hate the west (yet cant wait to avail themselves of our booze, birds and benefits) then why dont the so-called majority actually bloody do something about silencing the militants? After all, where respect for the family is such a cultural and religious big thing, if daddy raghead told junior to stop being such a cunt then surely he'd have to stop?

Instead of the old bill forming a guard for the protestors, they should all have been marched off to chokey and charged with threatening or abusive behavoir, or behavoir likely to cause harrassment, distress and alarm. Note, the only people nicked were those protesting about the protestors.

An absolute fucking disgrace but not unexpected given the way this country has rolled over and surrendered any claim to being 'Great'.
