Burton is nestled somewhere in lower middle englandshire and I can recollect times i went there as a little kid on family outings or when we had overseas visitors. It's idyllic england for me.

I had to deliver a pint of piss to my new employers as part of the recruitment process to see if I've been a naughty boy and pilled myself up over christmas. It's a long way to go for a checkup, but the detour was well worth it.

Anyway, I thought i'd share the fun with you guys.

Pics were taken on a K800i and no, i wasn't bothered changing the presents.

Enjoy

Vee, Keep yer bike, you'll have a wingman come october - I'll be working in gloucester... which is VERY close to swindon! Wink Thumbs Up

There were loads of police bikes out today too. I don't speed officer Cool - give a cheeky nod at him as i go razzin past on the A46!

Loads of nice roads, the infamous A429 - not disclosing how quickly i went through there, but man the bike is so smooth through the undulations and twisties - very easy to keep it above 80 through it. Shame the A417 was full of old ladies and trucks!

But yeah, it's an awesome neck of the woods. Isn't Belshaw/Killa from those neck of the woods?

The detour only added 20 or so minutes onto my journey from loughborough to gloucester compared to winging it around Brum.

The honda wasn't as thirsty as I thought - 110 miles and still hasn't hit the fuel light.

Ben - you clearly have NO idea of geography do you!? Cotswolds is bascally the triangular piece of englandshire spanning from oxford to bristol and up through to birmingham - a proper playground!

Man, I so love middle england Thumbs Up Laughing Thumbs Up . I need to start searching about for houses in cheltenham and good bike garages for servicing. I just realised how much of an office environment my place of work is going to be - i'd much rather work on site at a nuclear power station instead; sweaty boiler suits and fannying about with radioactive substances.

Yeah Andy! I'm long overdue visiting some old skool BCFers... That fat bastard McGee's meant to be paying us a visit too Twisted Evil .

The blade's done 800 miles since my ownership a month ago! I love how it handles and drives. I could do with a PCIII to iron out the rough low-speed running, but it's going fast that matters!

Tell you what, the amount of feedback i get from the roadsmarts is more than enough for me to recommend it to people on thous! I just love the grip, stability and general handling of the bike - the chassis is very responsive. Certainly a marked improvement over the kwaka - whoever said anything about honda's being boring! Wink

Will be working on a Coffee plant which seems of coffee. Im an addict so cant think of anything better TBH! Thumbs Up Laughing

Hows Cheltenham for houses? Ive found Banbury being a town opposed to Bath being a city that its much cheaper and easier to get a garage. Do you have a garage in Loughborough?

I live in a student culdesac and the bike's parked in the back yard chained to a barbeque and a cast iron drain pipe. Most houses in luffs don't have garages, semis only have driveways and large gardens. That said, insurance is cheap enough. I can't imagine my premium if i'd insured it in london!

Nah, i always insure my bikes in loughborough since it adds £250-300 onto my premium! Shocked . Funnily enough, my XR125 was more to insure than my blade lol - £720 TPO @ 17 compared to £599 TPFT at 21 with a claim, 3 points and only 2 years NCB.
