The whole point of the c.b.t. is to teach you this kind of thing!

Compulsory Basic Training.

You shouldn't be riding at all until you do it Rolling Eyes

P.S. It's a brake ffs!

Edited to remove an obvious typo Rolling Eyes

Katanas don't have a clutch (at least not your sort). The rear brake lever is where the clutch would be on a manual bike.

This is either a really poor attempt at trolling or you are serious.

If you are serious please just jump in front of a speeding car/train/bullet.

A Katana will have the front brake on the right hand lever and the rear brake on the left hand lever.

You use a combination of both to slow down usually, more front than rear in the dry and more rear than front in the wet.

You have no clutch. Thumbs Up Enjoy your CBT, it'll teach you all this as stated before.

He has a clutch, he just can't control it.

I assume when he says he pulls the clutch, what he is actually doing is grabbing the rear brake.

You really shouldn't be riding it if you don't know how to use the controls.

He's pulling the brake lever thinking it's the clutch Thinking Laughing That is fecking hilarious, no wonder he thinks the "clutch" is enough to slow down with.

As per the above comments, do your CBT before you ride it, it's only a moped but it can still kill you.

cut the kid some slack.
just because he got the spelling and clutch/brake wrong! he came on here asking some questions that are easy to us as we know the answers! maybe the peeps that he knows gave him duff answers hence the confusion.
just think all the things you know you learnt from asking questions

enjoy the cbt and the ride

I was sure as I could be that this is a joke.If I am wrong the lad should try pushing the bike and pulling levers on the handle bars to see what stops it. Laughing

I can't be the only person whos first experience of riding a geared bike consisted of open throttle, drop clutch, wheelie and fall off? Am I?

No CBT when I started, just your mates pointing and laughing.

no one taught me anything about my moped I've had it for about 2 weeks I have no knowledge of mopeds or any motorcycles I dont see why you should use me to make yourselves feel good about yourselves because I was unsure about the controls. So for all of you that took me question as an attempted to boast your e-rep get a life seriously.

And no I wasn't joking I'm being serious why would I lie? what would be the point.
