If its tuned (or a 250) use decent fully synth (i.e. Castrol TTS). For a standard 125 good semi synth will do (like Silkolene Comp 2 Injector).

I have used castrol TTS on road bikes (ie NSR, RS, RD etc) and Castrol A747 on race bikes (KR1S and minimoto).

The stuff i used to put in my NSR cost £4 a litre, it was like red water. Saved quite a bit of money instead of buying Putoline TTS like i used to.

Just good old silkolene comp 2 plus stuff. Do any of you know anyone who has used that stawberry scented stuff? It makes me chuckle every time I see it in a shop. Very Happy

I ran an RS50 from brand new on fully synthetic 2T, and the piston rings and bore were like new after 22,000km. Also doesn't clog up the pipe or foul the sparkplug as quick. It's worth the extra cash.

I used to use Catrol TTS as apparently it was the best - I wanted to look after the bike.
