Ah that paint job is crazy never fails!
Take it there's not much wrong, just cosmetically really? I see the wee bracket on the side panel has broken, mine is the same, can't fit them though so didn't bother me.
Ack well, should look much better when its done. |

yeah man its cos the previous owner tried taking the panels off without undoing the screw bit... will just fill the holes in before i paint, should be ok
yeah has some sort of engine problem that is seriously affecting the performance... fires on 3 cylinders for most of the rev range and only when you have it pinned (sometimes) and at a steady low rev will the 4th cyl cut in... got a mechanic hopefully looking at it early next week so probly wont have any updates till after then as i need to keep it roadworthy |

Cool, fast work man.. hiring some extra hands ain't a bad idea
I know the feeling with taking exhaust bolts off, always think they're gonna sheer.. WD40, blowtorch, alan key & a 4lb hammer, then a spanner for leverage worked for me.
Don't know why your bolt ain't coming off the swingarm shaft though, I used an impact gun but there weren't any issues - Just get some leverage on it
So what you doing next, stripping paint, sandblasting etc? It'll be sad to see those colours go now lol..
well, not really |

yeah i managed to get the nut off the end but i cant manage to hammer the shaft out, turns freely but just doesnt budge!
well i dont think i am gonna have the time/funds to strip the paint or shotblast it so just gonna fill in some of the cracked paintwork, key it up and spray it... sprayed the sidestand today with the red and looks awesome! will get pics up after the final lacquer coat
and yeah my helpers are making it much easier, even managed to get a couple of girls to get their hands dirty |

blackwolf kindly donated an adjustable cbr600 rear shock to see if it will fit (as the current one is s@#t) just lined it up with the rear assy and it looks like it will fit a treat! |

i get the feeling this is one of those ''looks good in photos but in person its a hideous job'' jobs. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles.
