Does anyone else ever have dogs going for them when they are out on the bike? Sometimes when I go by them they lunge at me but are on leads so no probs. Today though I was cruising along at about 30 minding my own business when this dog appears from nowhere. It was as if it had been let out the traps at a greyhound race Shocked .

Think I'll speed up here a bit, this thing looks angry Neutral Well I think it had the blinkers on cause it was stopping for no one. It was so focused on me that it never saw the car behind me veer out the way as the dog ran into the wheel and bounced off Shocked

You'd think that would have stopped it. You'd be wrong! Confused I didn't lose it till I was going about 45 mph.

Crazy dog Rolling Eyes I'm thinking here that it's the loud exhaust that they are going for. I hope so because it's either that or cause I smell like dog meat Rolling Eyes

Ahhh I remember a time at my mates pub, he's got a CBR600RR and 2 massive terrier things, not sure what they're called but there massive, strong and funny.

He rode his bike around the pub car park to turn around and put the bike in his garage and one of the dogs chased after him, jumping up at the bike and biting his legs Laughing

Was very very funny to watch a red cbr600rr riding around and around the car park being chased by a great big scary dog

Scared the crap out of me becasue i didnt expect it. So clutch in, brake, try not to drop the new cbr400 and lash open the throttle, and it pissed off.

I've never been chased by a dog or anything, but the other day I was riding along, saw a dog in the window of a car (hanging out of it, looked funny, fucking massive thing it was..) and it barked at me as I went by, nearly fell off the other side of the bike.

Made me jump Laughing

I've never had much hassle since I gave up the 2 stroke. That used to drive dogs insane. This one time a dog was being held back by their owner on a leash while it went completely berzerk. I've never seen anything so evil looking in my life. I swear it had red glowing eyes and everything while doing that thing they do showing their teeth. Shocked

when i leave on my ped to go to uni, the missus often stands at the door to see me off (aww how sweet).

I have a white German Shepard dog that likes to chase me as she sees it as fun, the same reason they chase cats. She is now kept inside the kitchen when i leave (the dog, not the missus).

Lots of dogs in merthyr...........................................................and the four legged kind too ! Wink

I usally have the small little yappy type dogs running after my 125, you try and out run the little buggers but they keep up.
One day they are going to run under the wheels, I wish people will keep them locked up in their gardens and not just let them out in the street without being on a lead ! Evil or Very Mad

Hi

Nice trick I heard about years ago. Someone was regularly chased by a neighbours small dog as they rode away from home. One day they had time on their hands so as the dog tired and started to give up they slowed down to give it a chance. The dog then set off again, and this went on for a while. After a good few miles they zoomed off and left the dog. It did manage to find its way home but didn't bother to chase the bike again.

All the best

Keith

I havent been chased by dogs...at least not yet. Although i did recieve a big smack in the head today as a bumble bee landed smack bang on the top of my helmet. I thought someone had thrown a rock or something at me.
