Hmmm, something which is transparent ... what use would that be
As for it breaking, unlikely unless it suffered a hard knock ... cage windscreens are actually part of the structure of the cage these days and they are made of glass!!
Why not get a plastic version if you are worried about breaking the glass version
All the best ... Barry |

yeah you cheeky auld bugger I did realise (would be more prone to breaking on the MZ as that thing shakes the hell out of every component)... but I thought maybe there was a better reason for using glass anyway, at least the comment about plastic version is useful...didn't see any on my ebay
Did I mention, I'm waiting for Buster and Jeff to arrive so we can head off for the Euro trip
(suppose I better pack my stuff)
I promised I'd stay behind them so we wouldn't get lost... but that means I'll have to look at a Harley for a week
TBH, I never really had anything against Harleys, till the other night... definately not my cup of tea ____________________ **** Don't ride faster than your angel can fly Get this Free Space

Glass filter housings are quite tough - probably easier to break those plastic clear ones. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

I'd say the glass was tougher than plastic, easier to clean and probably makes it easier to see the bits of 'stuff' floating around. That said I still think its 90% bling.
Sickpup had some small plastic filters, that work fine and were easy to hide out the way. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |

While on this topic with the unfiltered often called dirty fuel you find in the stans and mongolia what would you take to filter the fuel before it goes into your tank?.
In that a Mr Funnel is expensive has a low flow rate AND is bulky....
some sort of cloth anybody any ideas?. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

Actually, water won't flow through a good paper filter, nor even a very-fine-mesh one. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
