 |

There's a 60 Ah battery which my Dad has left on charge downstairs. It's started making funny noises like there's some fluid evaporating from it. Should I turn it off or will it be safe to leave it? ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

Probably just the bubbles that recharging generates
Just keep an eye on it if it starts to balloon up your in trouble get it disconnected and dont knock it in case it bursts ____________________ DL650 Vstrom 2004

Sealed battery, or the type that you have to keep topped up with distilled water?
If it's the sort where you have to check the electrolyte level, it might be a good idea to make sure it doesn't boil itself dry. ____________________

It's a regular battery rather than a sealed one, it was just unusually loud. Turns out my old man had left it on a very long time (his car has a broken alternator that he can't be arsed to get fixed). Thanks for your help, guys. ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |
